Cockers-Worldwide.com is the new and updated "sister" site to Cockers-Online.se. It is the largest and most accurate online Cocker database and is provided totally free of charge exclusively for the personal use of the breeders and owners of Show and Performance American Cocker Spaniels.
The original Cockers-Online site began way back in April 2005, when Annette Hägglund (Roadmaster Cockers) and I decided, that we should expand our 'little' hobby of collecting Cocker pedigrees and exchanging them between ourselves into something far more useful to the fancy. We both knew from experience just how difficult it could be to find extended pedigrees, especially for Cockers born in another era. The search is even more difficult, when a Cocker fancier lives in a foreign country, far away from the Cocker's country of origin. It seemed rather selfish of us not to share our pedigree riches with others and so Cockers-Online was born.
In April 2010, my dear friend and partner at Cockers-Online.se passed away. I still find it hard to believe, that Annette is gone, as she was so young. Annette had always been responsible for all the site's care and maintenance and after her passing I was unable to get into the site to continue updating the database file. The only way to continue updating and providing the service, that we had started, was to create a new sister site to cockers-online.se. I knew, that Annette would have wanted our work to continue, so Cockers-Worldwide.com was created.
Although Cockers-Worldwide.com and Cockers-Online.se are both provided as a free service to the Cocker Fancy, they have cost both Annette and I thousands of dollars for resource materials and also many thousands of hours of work. We have always been more than happy to provide the service for free to those wishing to research their own lines, however, this service is NOT to be used as an easy and cost free way for others to build or expand their own online databases. Please respect the fact, that the information contained in the Cockers-Worldwide and Cockers-Online datebases is for your personal use only and must not not be used for profit or republishing in any other format, or copied to any other online cocker database.
The data contained in this database is for research purposes only and is not meant to take the place of an official pedigree from your nationalKennel Club.
If you experience any problems finding the cocker, that you are searching for, please feel free to contact me at the email address provided below and I will do my best to help you find the information you need. Also, if you wish to have some of your dogs added to the database file, just send their pedigree information to that same address. We would really appreciate receiving more pedigrees for European bred Cockers.
Cockers-Worldwide will be updated on a regular basis and corrections will be made as soon as possible after errors are found or reported to us. Please help us by reporting any errors or duplicate entries to: info@cockers-worldwide.com. Your questions and/or comments are always welcome.
